As they celebrate their 30th anniversary, Bench held its star-studded fashion show with the theme “Under the Stars” yesterday.
Held at the Mall of Asia Arena, the runway was heated up by the brand’s 2017 collection donned by the sexiest stars in the industry.
Breaking the boundaries between their networks, the hottest stars from ABS-CBN and GMA modeled the runway. Model-actress Solenn Heusaff opened the show atop a hula hoop suspended from above. Dubsmash queen Maine Mendoza made her debut on the fashion show in a matching white top and shorts. Actor-model Paulo Avelino drew all the attention to himself as he showed his abs in a sparkling denim jacket.
Also among those who walked were the on-screen partners Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
As per usual, the strong chemistry of the two gave life to the crowd, who were cheering them on all the while.
Both wearing matching grey outfits, Kathryn was seen in a halter crop-top and flare pants, and Daniel in a jacket and pants.
But it wasn’t the highlight of their walk. As they came face to face during the runway, much to everyone’s surprise, Daniel leaned in on Kathryn for what appeared to be a kiss on the lips, only for the smooch to rest upon her chin.
The act didn’t disappoint the audience, however, as they burst from excitement witnessing the tease.
This isn’t the first time for KathNiel to walk together for Bench. One of their most unforgettable moments on the runway was in 2014 for Bench “Naked Truth” fashion show, after Daniel handed Kathryn a rose and took the partner into his arms.
